Miss Newa - Cultural Talent Show : A presentation of Nepalese Fashion Home

Grand Finale: Miss Newa 2011

December 31, 2011. 7^th Annual Miss Newa 2011, a Cultural Talent Show's grand finale was held in Nepal Academy Hall, Kathmandu. Amound 36 contestant top 26 were selected with questions answer round, Top 10 contestant were choosen where due to tie with 2 contestant top 11 was held. With the written answer within 2 minutes of time, Miss Sunita Dangol was selected as a 7th Miss Newa.

History

Nepalese Fashion Home established in 2003 organized Miss Newa for the first time in the history of Newar Culture and Tradition, The Cultural Talent Show, A Beauty Pageant was held in the year of 2005. After successful grand event of Miss Teen Sherpa and Miss Teen Gurung in the year 2004. Today young lady from newar community are getting enough opportunities and the experience to represent their own community.

NFH aim is to provide a forum for individuals to discover their own hidden talents that come out with perseverance and varied trainings, which are meaningful and purposeful to be the leaders of the society. Miss Newa’s objective stands on two strong pillars i.e, personality and leadership development. Organizers are basically in search of a personality that combines beauty, brain, confidence and a positive mind and one who will be able to present their own community in the society. The Nepalese Fashion Home (NFH) now annually organizes Miss Newa.
